Safety Rules
- Inappropriate behavior including profanity will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services without notice if a passenger, parent, or guardian engages in abusive, threatening, harassing or disrespectful behavior toward any staff . Refunds will not be issued for services canceled due to violations of this policy.
- No Bullying! Bullying will result in termination of services without a refund. No exceptions. Be smart and respectful.
- Seat belts are to be worn at all times.
- No eating or drinking in the vehicle
- Smoking or Vaping is prohibited in the vehicle
- Destroying of personal property will not be tolerated and could result in termination of service and/or fee.
- Passengers must remain seated until the vehicle has come to a complete stop
- No throwing objects out of the vehicle
- No rough- housing, yelling or distracting the driver
- Riders under the age of 4 must use a car seat
- Seat riders between the ages of 4 to 8 must use a booster seat. Failure to appropriately use car seats and booster seats not only endangers the safety of the riders but also violates state law.
Pickup Policy
It's imperative that your child is ready at the scheduled pickup time. It will help keep the driver on schedule with getting the child to its destination. KCT ask that your child be ready 10 minutes before scheduled pick up. We will allow 5 minutes at the pickup location before pulling off. If a driver has not arrived within 10 minutes after scheduled pickup time, please call KCT to check the status of your arrival.
Inclement Weather
Safety is the top priority of KCT. In the event of inclement weather, KCT will proceed with caution. If bad weather occurs after your child arrives at their scheduled pickup location, KCT will make every effort to pick up your child and take them to their destination. If conditions worsen, pickup times will need to be changed or canceled to ensure the safety of your knowledgeable kids and KCT drivers. Parents must contact KCT, School, Daycare etc and arrange early pickup times.
